“We stayed at Sherwood Hideaway at the end of November in a rustic pet friendly lodge and it was fantastic. Super clean loved the hot tub on the balcony nice and private and had plenty of room. We were originally meant to leave on the Friday morning, but we loved it that much we extended our stay. The lady in the office was brilliant couldn’t have been any more helpful when I asked if we could keep the lodge for a few days longer. Plenty of places around and lovely forest walks with the dog”.

“A fantastic place to stay over the weekend. Firstly, when arriving everyone is sorted before your arrival and with a COVID free / clean arrival to the lodge. A nice welcome pack waiting in the living area.
The whole lodge was clean with all your amenities and robes, a modern feel in the middle of Sherwood Forest. Step outside and you have a BBQ & hot tub at your disposal. Or you can just go for a wander through Britain’s most famous forest.
A 5 mins drive you have everything you could need such as a pub, restaurants and food shops which was great as we had children with us but again still far enough away in the wilderness. The staff have been very helpful since the moment we rang to enquire about the booking & the way through to the end of our stay”.

“We loved Sherwood Hideaway, we found it very relaxing with lots of really nice walks in the Sherwood forest during the day, and hot tub and games at night, We really like the fact that the cabins are spaced out and private. The cabin was nice and clean, the beds really comfortable. We had a great weekend and will be booking again soon… Thank you”.

Such a homely feel in the lodge. So relaxing and serene taking in the beauty of the walk in the Forest. Amazing as we walked through the Forest and a fairly big deer jumped out amongst the bushes about 15 feet from us and galloped off deep into the dense woods. Spotted so many different mushrooms walking too. Our lodge overlooked the Forest whilst sitting in the hot tub at 38 degrees. So quiet here too. The staff are very friendly and very efficient. Would recommend and come back again”.
